Anxiety can convince you that are spinning out of control, you often persistently worry and overthink, are restless…
And it is common to have physical symptoms like digestive issues, headaches, and fatigue.
Anxiety can often be a message from your body or higher self to check in on things. Maybe you're not nourishing yourself with enough food, or are speaking negatively to yourself. You may not be getting adequate sleep or putting up boundaries when and where you need to. Your blood sugar, gut health, or hormones might even be out of whack.
Anxiety can also be your body’s way of holding on to past difficult experiences, attempting to manage current stress, and you're just constantly in a state of fight, flight, or fawn and no idea how to unwind.
Holistically approaching and resolving anxiety is multifaceted. And that is a great thing! I can help you understand all these sensations while aiming to build a greater sense of peace and increase your ability to chill out!
We will incorporate cognitive work (working with thoughts), and get down your body (somatics) through the use of breath work, meditation, mindfulness, movement, self-compassion, and nutrition.
